    Pengaruh Jenis Mata Entres Dan Klon Terhadap Keberhasilan Okulasi Dan Pertumbuhan Tunas Pada Okulasi Hijau Di Polibeg

    Pada saat ini pengadaan bahan tanam karet dengan cara okulasi tanaman muda langsung di polibeg sedang berkembang terutama di perkebunan besar. Pertanyaan yang sering dilontarkan para pekebun adalah jenis mata okulasi apa yang cocok untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis mata okulasi terhadap persentase keberhasilan dan pertumbuhan tunas hasil okulasi hijau di polibeg. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Balai Penelitian Sungei Putih, menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap faktorial dengan dua faktor yaitu jenis klon (PB 260 dan IRR 118) dan jenis mata okulasi yaitu mata daun hijau (MDH), mata daun coklat (MDC), mata sisik hijau (MSH) dan mata sisik coklat (MSC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk okulasi hijau dalam polibeg, jenis mata yang paling sesuai adalah mata sisik hijau (MSH). Meskipun persentase keberhasilannya tinggi (90,5%), tunas yang tumbuh dari MSH relatif lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan jenis mata entres lainnya sehingga pemeliharaan setelah okulasi tumbuh sangat penting untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tunas. Pada kondisi MSH tidak mencukupi, okulasi hijau di polibeg dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan mata sisik coklat (MSC) dan mata daun hijau (MDH) namun tidak dianjurkan menggunakan mata daun coklat (MDC).     Leather tanning industryproduced waste water contained of heavy metal Chrom that can be dangerous for the environment. One of the methods to remove Cr in wastewater was used Extracellular Polymeric Substances (EPS) that extracted from the activated sludge. This research was done with used EPS that immobilized in epoxy resin as adsorbent and used artificial waste water with concentration of 15,9 ppm. This research was done in continuous and recirculation process with variable of pH 5, 6, 7 and the flows were 3, 5, 7 ml/min. The result showed that the best adsorption happened in pH 5, the flowwere 3 ml/minwith the adsorption capacity was 6,382 mg/g EPS-epoxy and the removal efficiency was 89,2

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh customer value terhadap repurchase intention konsumen dengan customer satisfaction sebagai variabel intervening di Pisa Kafe Manyar Surabaya. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini antara lain customer value sebagai variabel independen, customer satisfaction sebagai variabel intervening, dan repurchase intention sebagai variabel dependen. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 responden konsumen Pisa Kafe Manyar Surabaya melalui teknik convenience sampling. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kuantitatif dengan metode path analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel customer value dan customer satisfaction memberi pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel repurchase intention

    Financial and Non Financial Factors on Going-Concern Opinion

    Company's ability to survive is a fundamental uncertainty faced in the preparation and auditing financial statements. Provision of going-concern opinion on these financial statements the company is still being debated. Public Accountant Professional Standards in section 341 states that the auditor is responsible for evaluating whether there is a major doubt on the ability of entities in the continued survival of the appropriate period of time, not more than one year from the date of the financial statements being audited. This research analyzed the financial and non financial factors that affected the provision of going-concern opinion. This research used samples of 63 companies with 315 observations, taken from years 2005-2009. The logistic regression analysis showed that the company's financial condition variables, mitigating evidence, and disclosure significantly influence the acceptance of going-concern opinion. Enterprise risk was not significant at propensity of going-concern opinion

    Solar-powered adsorption refrigeration cycle optimization

    Solar energy is an attractive energy source among various renewable energy resources in Malaysia as relatively high solar radiation is available throughout the year. This solar energy can be utilized for air-conditioning by using solar-powered adsorption refrigeration cycle. Intermittent nature of the solar radiation leads to a challenge for continuous air-conditioning operation. In the present study, a combination of solar-powered adsorption refrigeration system and thermal storage is studied. Activated carbon-ammonia and activated carbon-methanol are the working pairs of the adsorption reaction. Analytical calculation results show that activated carbon-methanol pair indicates higher coefficient of performance (COP) than activated carbon-ammonia pair, while adsorption chiller system with hot water thermal storage has higher COP than the system with ice thermal storage. For the activated carbon-methanol case with hot water thermal storage, the COP is 0.79. Since this COP analysis is based on the ideal case with uniform temperature distribution within the reactor beds, which achieves equilibrium states at the end of the reactions. In more realistic situation, the reaction process will be terminated before reaching to the equilibrium states because of the non-uniform temperature distribution and the time required for the reaction. Transient simulation in which heat transfer and reaction equation are combined will be performed to model actual reactors
